On May 18th, Vice President Dong Qi met a delegation led by Mr. Bernd Eisenblaetter, Chairman of Managing Directors of German Academy for International Cooperation (GIZ), who is also member of University Board of Tongji.

Prof. Dong introduced the recent development of Tongji University and thanked GIZ and Mr. Eisenblaetter for the support in all these years. Both sides agreed that vocational education was very important in the development of China and China can learn a lot from Germany in this area. Afterwards, Prof. Feng Xiao and Prof. Wang Jiping, Director and Political Director of Institute of Vocational Education introduced the situation of “Chinese-German Alliance on Vocational Education”.
