On April 25th, a Tongji delegation led by Prof. Zhou Zuyi, Chairman of the University Council, and Prof. Dong Qi, Vice President, paid a visit to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and signed a cooperation memorandum over a double degree program in field of Mechanical Engineering including Automotive Engineering. After the signing ceremony, the Tongji delegation visited the Centre of Mobility of KIT.

KIT is the third site of this official visit tour by Prof. Zhou Zuyi in Germany. Before then, Prof. Zhou attended the Hannover Messe and gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the symposium “Leibniz and Confucius – a dialog over education”, which was organized by Confucius Institute Hannover of Tongji University. Afterwards, the delegation visited the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Bonn.
