The 2nd Italian Career Day was held at the 1st floor hall of the comprehensive building in Siping Road Campus on Thursday. The event was co-organized by Tongji University and the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (I.C.E), and was strongly supported by the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai. The Italian Consulate General Consul DeLuca and the chief representative of the Italian Trade Commission Forte attended the event.

There were 47 companies attending the event such as Magneti Marelli (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, ITT China Investment Co., Ltd, TOD’S (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd, Luxottica (China) Investment Co., Ltd, and etc. The industries covered automobiles, machinery manufacturing, engineering, law, architecture, design, fashion, and etc. Hundreds of Chinese and Italian students were attracted to the event. The job position covered engineers, technicians, sales, marketing, procurement, design, HR, administration, management, and internship.

In addition to our students, the event also attracted the students from Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University and other Shanghai colleges. The event was in a warm and orderly atmosphere, and received high praise both from companies and students.
