China working group conference of Sino-EU Engineering Education Platform (SEEEP) was held at Tsinghua University on April 9th. Representatives of the members attended this meeting, including Director Li Zhenyu from Tongji International Exchange and Cooperation Office as the conference host, Director Gu Jianzheng from Harbin Institute of Technology; Vice Director Li Yuhong from Tsinghua University, Vice Director Guan Hongjie from China University of Mining and Technology, Vice Director Wu Kehua from China University of Petroleum, etc.

The following issues were discussed during the conference: Sino-EU Engineering Education scholarship, Sino-EU Sustainable Engineering Doctoral Institute, mutual recognition of credits and degrees, English-taught courses, school-enterprise cooperation, information sharing, openness, seminars, etc.

It was reported that the third seminar of the Sino-EU Engineering Education Platform will be held at Harbin Institute of Technology in early September, 2012, and the Sino-EU working group negotiation preparation meeting will be held in Shanghai and Beijing in May.
