On March 28th, Vice President Dong Qi met with Amb. Karel Kovanda, former Deputy Director General of European Union. Kovanda expressed his thanks for the invitation to give lectures as a modular professor to Tongji students and his willingness to strengthen Tongji’s cooperation with European Union and Czech.

Amb. Kovanda was Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the North Atlantic Council and Western European Union, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech, and Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations.
