On March 17, Vice President Qi Dong met with Pro-Vice-Chancellor Rebecca Hughes of the University of Sheffield in Britain. They introduced their own universities and explored the possible areas of in-depth cooperation. On March 22, the delegation of the University of Sheffield had a face-to-face talk with representatives from the schools of Medicine, Political Science and International Relations, Law, Design and Creation, Architecture and Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Life Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. They made a preliminary plan of cooperation between two universities in student exchange, double degree, faculty exchange and joint research.
