Sino-Finnish Centre of Tongji University Third Advisory Board Meeting was held successfully in Qingdao on 8thFebruary. Tongji University President Pei Gang, Vice President Wu jiang, Aalto University President Tuula Teeri, Vice President Hannu Seristö, Martti Raevaara, Director of International Relations Mervi Rantanen, President of Haier Group, Ms Yang Mianmian, Mr. Antti Pirinen , Director of KONE (China) Product Strategy and Marketing, and Sino-Finnish Centre Management Team attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Executive Vice Director of Sino-Finnish Centre Prof.Lou Yongqi reported the achievements SFC has gained to the members of the Advisory Board in 2011. Later, Prof.Lou Yongqi and another Executive Vice Director, Prof. Yrjo Sotamaa discussed with the AB members about the SFC’s future development strategy lively.
Two Executive Vice Directors stressed the importance of the educational in the discussion of the development strategy of SFC, at the same time, they also intensified the foreign exchange, and scientific research projects which should be the crucial strategic thinking. President Pei Gang addressed the meaning of Talent Introduction to Sino-Finnish Centre. AB members make a full recognition to Sino-Finnish Centre over the year and have more explicit requirements in the future.
After the meeting, the participants cross-presented gifts, looking forward to the Fourth Advisory Board Meeting of SFC in November 2012 in Helsinki, Finland.
