On January 14th, Prof. Dong Qi, Vice President of Tongji University met the visiting Vice President of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) Prof. Roland Y. Siegwart, accompanied by Director of Academic Relations of SwissNex, and directors and professors of Tongji university, and six students who have participated in the joint project of developing a key component of a robot.

During the meeting, both parties first reviewed the status quo of the cooperation since the signing of the general cooperation agreement in 1997 before they discussed about the further cooperation opportunities. Both parties are willing to have more personnel exchange in the level of master and PhD students, especially the ones who are selected through a research or an internship program.
