Dec. 8th, Vice President Dong Qi met with the new Consul General of Russian, Mr. Andrey N. Smorodin and Consul Andrey Bitkin in Tongji.

Vice President Dong Qi introduced the history, disciplinary features, internationalization and social service of Tongji University. Prof. Liu Shuguan, Vice Director of HR office presented Tongji's traditional, current cooperation in education, research and technology transfer as well as the future plan with Russian partners. Mr. Smorodin agreed to the cooperative proposal and expressed his willingness to recommend excellent Russian universities and institutions to Tongji and to promote the cooperation between Tongji and Russian partners.
