On November 29th, Prof. Dr. Rainer Fink, Vice Dean and Head of the Graduate School of Natural Sciences, and Dr. Monica Mayer, General Manager of Graduate School of Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg visited Tongji University and met the representatives of several Institutions of Tongji University, such as Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Electronics and Information. Prof. Dr. Cai Yongjie, Vice Director of Graduate School of Tongji University hosted the meeting.

The visit of Prof. Fink and Dr. Mayer was aimed at carrying forward the planning of establishment of student exchange and double degrees programs on the PhD-level between both universities, which had begun since the last visit of Dr. Mayer in September. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Fink and Dr. Mayer also visited the Department of Chemistry, School of Electronics and Information and School of Materials Science and Engineering.
