On Nov. 4th, Prof. Chen Xiaolong, Executive Vice President of Tongji met Prof. Peter Coaldrake, Vice Chancellor and President of Queensland University of Technology, Australia and Prof. Scott Sheppard, Deputy Vice Chancellor for International and Development. Chen Xiaolong discussed with Coaldrake about the old campus renovation and new campus building as well as the policies of attracting professors and experts from outside. The delegation was shown around the Sino-Finnish Center and No. 1 Design Workshop. The representatives from the School of Creative Design, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, the School of Economics and Management and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Tongji University also attended the meeting.

Tongji University and Queensland University of Technology are promoting the cooperation in the fields of architecture, urban planning, creative design, business and economics in the form of student exchange and double-degree program.
