President of Tongji University Pei Gang meets Vice President of Aalto University

On the morning of October 31, President of Tongji University Pei Gang met with Vice president of Aalto University Martti Raevaara, , accompanied by several university supervisors who were responsible for foreign affairs and doctoral research programs. Feng Yiping, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office of Tongji University, was also present at the meeting.

President of Tongji University Pei highly appreciated the satisfactory achievements gained through Sino-Finnish cooperation during the past year, and expressed his ardent expectation to attract teacher and student exchanges of all levels of Tongji University to participate into international cooperation through the Double Degree program and introduction of more Finnish well-known companies including Angry Birds into Sino-Finnish Centre.In addition, we also introduced our latest international communication and cooperation programs to our Finnish friends, including namely, Expert Modularization Program, Youth Professors Program and International Post-doctoral Program. We sincerely hoped that the cooperation between Tongji and Aalto could achieve further promotion and expansion.

Vice President of Aalto University Martti Raevaara expressed that they had attached great importance to the mutual cooperation as well, and indicated that the Sino-Finnish Center and Tongji-Aalto Design Factory had turned out to be successful cases for its publicity of international cooperation on and off campus. In future, Aalto University will extend and promote this kind of collaboration so as to make them much more known.
