On October 18th, Prof. Pei Gang, President of Tongji, and Prof. Harold Maurer, Chancellor of University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), signed the Shanghai Sino-US Health Science Initiative Memorandum of Understanding with the presence of administrators of School of Medicine and International Exchange and Cooperation Office. The School of Medicine has established sound cooperative relationship with UNMC since 2010, and collaboration has been extended into general medicine, postgraduate education, and clinical rotational internships on the basis of multiple visits and mutual understanding. Both sides have the strong aspiration to co-founding the Sino-US Health Science Center committed to collaborative teaching and research for the education of health professionals with international competitiveness.
