Tongji Professor gives speech at Johns Hopkins University

Qiu Huafei, professor of the School of Political Science & International Relations of Tongji University, was invited to give a speech titled “The Relationship between China and South Asian Countries”, by the South Asian Study Center of Advanced International Studies Institute, Johns Hopkins University, U.S. More than 100 people, who are experts and scholars from famous colleges and universities in Washington, DC, the State Department officials, former U.S. diplomats in Pakistan and other countries, and graduate students of the Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, listened to the speech.

Prof. Qiu Huafei’s speech contained four parts: India-Pakistan relations under geo-strategic constraints, strategic benefit conflict in Sino-India relations and Sino-Pakistan relations, US factor in Sino-South Asia strategy, opportunities and challenges in future Sino-South Asian countries relations. After his speech, Prof. Qiu also answered questions of the participants.
