Nine Universities of the China Excellence Alliance had their directors of international offices meet in Tongji for the second joint meeting. Prof. Dong Qi, Vice President of Tongji attended the meeting, speaking on the achievements in international cooperation of the Alliance since the first meeting last December and expressing the hope of more sharing of best practices and resources.

Directors gave presentations on the latest developments in international cooperation of their respective universities. The informative presentations inspired discussions on scaling up the courses available in English, double-degree programs, new ways of Sino-foreign university education, development of IT system for information management, international collaboration of research, new trends of education for international students, and the main challenges they face.
