From Aug 26 to Aug 31, a delegation of Braunschweig University of Technology led by Professor Thomas Vietor, Dean of the Department of Mechanical Engineering visited Tongji University. Vice President Prof. Dong Qi met with the delegation, and signed a cooperative agreement “Tongji-TU Braunschweig Double-Degree (Master) Project”.

The College of Automotive Engineering started cooperative intention contact with Braunschweig University of Technology in Apr 2010, and 10 students were selected to study in Germany in Feb 2011. An interview is going to be arranged for the students of Sino-German College (Automotive Engineering) who might have the opportunities to attend the double-degree project in Feb 2012.

On Aug 27th, a seminar was held at the New Energy Automotive Engineering Center on Jiading Campus to discuss potential cooperation in the field of new energy automotive engineering.
