On 27th April, Prof. Pei Gang, the President and Prof. Dong Qi, the Vice President of Tongji University met with General Xavier Michel, General Director of Ecole Polytechnique (France) and his delegation.

Vice President Dong Qi highlighted the fruitful cooperation between Tongji and Ecole Polytechnique since 2003 and expressed his willingness to enhance the cooperation between two institutions, Prof. Ye Weimin made a presentation of Tongji’s Sino-French Excellent Engineering Joint Education Program. President Pei Gang introduced the new models of Sino-Foreign joint education cooperation in China.

Both French and Chinese sides exchanged the ideas and opinions for the programs above and General Michel gave the suggestions on the key points for the success of Tongji’s Sino-French Excellent Engineering Joint Education Program.
