From April 10th to 15th, President Pei Gang led a delegation to the partner universities in the USA to explore the future collaborative programs. During the stay, the delegation paid a visit to the University of Maryland, College Park, Georgia Institute of Technology, California University at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Topics of dual Master Degree programs in areas of architecture, urban planning and sustainability, faculty training program, short term students/ faculty exchange program are widely explored. In addition, the delegation had a dinner party with Tongji American Alumni Association (TJAAA) in Washington D. C. More than 20 Alumni came all way to the D.C. area to meet the President Pei Gang. At the party, Mr. He Yanbin, the President of TJAAA handed the donation check of the Association to the Tongji Education Development Foundation.

Li Zhenyu, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, He Bin, Deputy Director of Office of Science and Technology, Wang Guangbin, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, Huang Yiru, Vice Dean of College of Architecture and Urban Planning are among the delegation.
