From April 4th to 8th, Vice President Dong Qi led a delegation to visit Mines ParisTech, ENTPE, INSA de Lyon, the Ministry of High Education and Research, the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development and the Commission of Engineer’s Title (CTI) in France. A two-day seminar with the participation of 5 French Engineering Schools (ENTPE, INSA de Lyon, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Ecole des Mines des Saint-Etienne, ENGEES) was held in Lyon and a work meeting with the representatives of the Group of Ecoles des Mines (GEM) was organized in Paris.

This visit focused on the Sino-French Joint Education Program under the framework Tongji’s “Excellent Talent Program”, the objective is to learn more about French Engineering education system and to ask for the advises of French experts, to identify French partner schools for the chosen majors, to look for the supports of French government and CTI, and also to work on the next step of planning with French partners.
