On the morning of April 14th, a group of delegation from Transportation Research Board (TRB), U.S., took a visit at the School of Transportation Engineering in Tongji University. Prof. Lin Hangfei, vice-president of the school, met with them.

TRB is the world’s largest organization for transportation industry institute; the members of the delegation are all the management or technical experts of the American major transportation institutions or traffic industries. Vice-president Lin Hangfei gave an excellent presentation on the topics of “Development of Transportation in Shanghai” and “Development Planning of New Energy Vehicles in Shanghai”. The two sides also discussed subjects about Shanghai urban development, sustainable transportation system, public transportation and land use, and traffic emission，which were appealing to both sides.
