Prof.Joel G . Burken and Prof. Jerry Tien fromMissouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) took a visit atTongjiUniversityon April 1st, andaddressed the students from theCollegeofEnvironmental Scienceand Engineering.Prof.Jerry Tien detailed Missouri S & T’s Logo, Motto, history, professors, location and national ranking, especially pointed at their educational strength and oversea study fees, which was concerned by our Tongji students. Prof. Burken presented part of the science achievements of Missouri S &T, the projects such as “cancer virus designated treatment” and “solar panels house and car”, aroused great interest in students. The two professors gave T-shirt and university flag as gifts to our students.
