Dr. Jasemine C. Chambers, Deputy Executive Director of Policy and Foreign Affairs, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), visited our university on April 1st, discussed cooperation projects, and signed a cooperation memorandum with Law School.
Dean Shan Xiaoguang of Law School introduced the developing history of the school, the discipline strength and international cooperation to the visitors. He said the two sides could further cooperation in intellectual property. Dr. Jasemine C. Chamber highly agreed with him. She said that there has been a good cooperation foundation between USPTO and Tongji University, she deeply believed that the two sides will have more cooperation in the future.
During the visit, Dr. Jasemine C. Chamber took academic discussion with the teachers and students of Law School.
