On 24 March, Vice President Dong Qi met the Morgan Stanley delegation led by James McGill, the Pan Asia CIO, and signed the MOU. Prof. Huang Jie, Dean of School of Software Engineering and Dr. Gao Zhen from the IBM Technology Center of Tongji University also attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Vice President Dong Qi welcomed the delegations and introduced the ongoing “Excellent Engineers Program” in Tongji. He pointed out that Tongji University has put much emphasis on student training and the quality of higher education.

After the ceremony, Mr. Stephen Sparkes, COO of EI Global awarded the ‘2011 Morgan Stanley Innovation Program’ certificate to Prof. Huang Jie as a support toward the School of Software Engineering.
