On March 17, Mats Rosenquist, Senior Vice President led representatives in technology, design, and human resources from Volvo group visited Tongji University. Vice President Chen Xiaolong met with the delegation.

Vice President Chen highlighted two disciplinary groups of Tongji and their significance in modern China to the visitors. The Volvo delegates explained the goal of visiting, selecting partners among Chinese universities, “preferred talent partner” and “preferred research partner”. The other Tongji attendances from four different schools also presented their school, research and talent cultivation to the delegation.
