On the morning of December 10th, directors for educative administration and international cooperation from 9 member universities of Excellent Union gathered together at Tongji University, to discuss and carry out the Cooperation Framework for Excellent Talent Education. President Pei Gang and Vice President Chen Yiyi participated in the meeting and addressed to all the participants. The 9 member universities are Beijing Institute of Technology, Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, Southeast University, Harbin Institute of Technology, South China University of science and Technology, Tianjin University, Tongji University, Northwestern Polytechnical University.

In the afternoon, the 1st Meeting of Directors for International Cooperation Office of member universities of Excellent Union was held in Jiading Campus of Tongji. All participants agreed that such meeting will then be held annually, and that the first step will be organization of international summer school between Chongqing University, Tongji University and Northwestern Polytechnical University.
