On November 8th, President Pei Gang met with Prof. James B. Milliken, President of University of Nebraska, Prof. Tom Ferrell, Assistant President, and Prof. Zheng Jialin, Director of Asia-Pacific Rim Development Program.

During the meeting, President Pei welcomed the guests and introduced the international cooperation platforms of Tongji University. Since the cooperative relationship between Tongji and University of Nebraska was established in 2010, Pei expressed the willingness to enhance collaboration between both sides. President Milliken said that the cooperation-relationship with Chinese partner universities is highly appreciated by University of Nebraska and the further collaborations on Food Safety, Water Resource and Medical Health with Tongji University are in expectation.
