On the afternoon of October 26th, Vice-president Li Yongsheng met with Ms. Laurie Damiani, director of the International Affairs Office, Cornell University, at Jiading Campus. The two sides introduced their student training, science research, international affairs, and cooperation projects individually, hoped that the two universities will strengthen communication in the field of technology, architecture, energy resource and sustainable development in the future for building an exchange and cooperation platform between Sino-US first-class universities.

Later, Li Zhenyu, director of Tongji Foreign Affairs Office, and Ms. Laurie Damiani discussed specifically about how to enhance international communication and cooperation.

Before the meeting, Laurie Damiani visited the lab of Shanghai Ground Transportation Wind Tunnel Center, accompanied by Yang Zhigang, director of the center.
