On the afternoon of October 11th, an opening celeberation held in the Zonghe Building at Siping campus of Tongji University indicated that Tongji-Italian Movie Festival had started. The Festival was co-sponsored by Tongji University, Regione Emilia-Romagna, PromoBologna and the Foundation Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna, and organized by College of Communication and Art and Sino-Italian Campus of Tongji. Institutions on art, music and drama from University of Bologna also took part in the five-day festival during which 27 different Italian movies provided by Association of Documentary from Regione Emilia-Romagna would be shown on Siping Campus and Jiading Campus.
