19 teachers and students from INSTITUTE for Traffic Planning and Road Traffic of Technische Universitaet Dresden (TU Dresden) visited our College of Transportation Engineering at Jiading Campus recently. Teachers and students from both universities discussed and exchanged ideas on the topics of their common interests in a warm atmosphere.

Prof. Chen Xiaohong of our College of Transportation Engineering, and Prof. Encore Sen from TU Dresden gave reports on the topic of Expo traffic, urban mobility and urban planning individually, then introduced experience in the field of transportation research and engineering in both two countries. Later, the teachers and students from TU Dresden visited Tongji Campus and labs.

TU Dresden, one of the universities which provided for transportation program and achieved outstanding result, kept good cooperation and communication relationship with our university. The student conference held this time enhanced mutual understanding and explored ideas and method of international education in the future.
