President of SAE visited our College of Automotive Engineering

Dr. Andrew Brown, 2010 new president of American Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE), visited our College of Automotive Engineering with his delegation and talked with the head of the College, students of Innovation Base. By convention, each of the new SAE presidents will come to meet with our students in College of Automotive Engineering.

At the forum, Dr. Andrew Brown gave a wonderful speech entitled “Global Mega-Trends and the Transportation Industry – China Relevance”, provided a new thought perspective for the students from the requirements of human security, green technology in the globalization process, to the future development prospect of electric vehicle technology, as well as development opportunity in China automobile industry. The student representative briefed their technology innovation project. In the interactive session, the students discussed about relevant issues with SAE representatives. Dr. Andrew Brown highly appraised the innovation and practical ability of the students in the college, and encouraged them to be more innovative and make active exploration for technological breakthrough in the future.
