On the morning of Jun 16, Prof. Claire Pomeroy, vice-president from University of California (UC)-Davis, U.S., led medicine delegation of UC to discuss cooperation projects with representatives from Tongji Medical School.

Relevant person in charge of Medical School briefed the developing history and states quo of Tongji University, as well as its Medical School and subsidiary hospitals. Prof. Claire Pomeroy gave a wonderful presentation about the medical education, science research and clinical care center of UC-Davis with PPT.

Both sides discussed about strategic cooperation in varied fields and medical education developing in priority, as well as scientific research projects.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the laboratory in Medical School and our subsidiary Orient Hospital.

Prof. Xu Guotong, executive vice-dean of Tongji Medical School, and Prof. Claire Pomeroy signed a contract on behalf of each medical school in the “Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony between Tongji University and UC Davis” holding on the evening.
