On May 5th, Shanghai Water Authority awarded Tongji water-saving volunteers as “Outstanding Water-Saving Volunteer Team”.
Our university Energy Conservation Inspection Team was built in June 2005, which is the first independent organization carried out by college students themselves in Shanghai. The team members are responsible for daily checking the use of various resources such as water, electricity, paper, food, and learning materials in teaching building, office building, dormitory, cafeteria and other public areas. They recorded the problems found during inspection and promptly reported to the energy management center for timely processing. In recent years, they have played an active role in creating conservation campus.
