President Pei Gang visited UNEP; Tongji University co-organized the sixth Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development; UNEP, Bayer Group and Tongji University co-hosted the first "Bayer-Tongji-UNEP Sustainable Development Forum"; IESD held the Annual Board meeting in Beijing; World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO opened the cultural management planning courses, hosted International Forum for the operation of World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region. Tongji delegation visited UN-HABITAT and Tongji became the Habitat Partner University.
