Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management (IFCIM) of Tongji University celebrated its 10th anniversary on May and November. Notables sent congratulation letters included Mr. Wan Gang, Vice-President of CPPCC and Minister of MoST, Ms. Wu Qidi, the former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Hao Ping, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Kong Quan, Chinese Ambassador to France, Mr. Hervé Ladsous, French Ambassador to China and Mr. Bernard Belloc, Advisor of Higher Education and Scientific Research to French President.

Series of celebrating activities were organized. On May 17th, the “Sino-French Forum of University President & Grande Ecole Director” was held in Shanghai which attracted 10 Chinese universities and 12 French engineering schools and business schools and representatives of both governments and of European Commission. Other activities included the inauguration ceremony of Alumni Association of IFCIM, the opening ceremony of two exhibitions of IFCIM’s ten-year development and academic achievements of its SIMBA program and the grand celebration ceremony on which Ms. Wu Qidi, former Tongji President, Mr. Hervé Ladsous, French Ambassador to China, President Pei Gang and Mr. Cyrille Van Effenterre, President of ParisTech delivered address.
On 16th November, Tongji and Paristech jointly held the Sino-European Forum in Paris to celebrate the 10th anniversary of IFCIM. And the 14th Board Meeting of IFCIM was held in Ecole des Pont-ParisTech, France on 18th November.
