On Dec. 25, Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane Finance Minister of Zambia paid his first visit to Tongji University. Prof. Li Yongsheng, Executive Vice President met with the guest in CAUP. Dr. Sun Jialin, Vice GM, CNMC accompanied the visit.

Prof. Li Yongsheng introduced Tongji University, esp. the cooperation with Africa including with Zambia to the guests. The Minister thanked Tongji for its efforts of receiving Zambia students and hoped to enhance the collaboration between two sides in the future economic development. The Minister also met the 17 Zambia students currently studying at Tongji and encouraged them to work hard for a good command of Chinese language and specialized skills.
