Co-hosted by Tongji University and ISIAO, the Lecture on "The Latest Development of the Italian Sinology" was held at Tongji on 18 Dec. The Cultural Counsellor of the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai introduced the history of Italian Sinology and the latest achievements.

After the lecture, a party was held in which the attending students and teachers enjoyed traditional Italian Christmas food and an Italian film. It is reported that all the above events were part of a series program named "That's Itallia", which was held by Sino-Italian Campus of Tongji University, the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai and Italian Education Center.
