On 19th November, the fourth and fifth round of “Urban Forum: Sino-German Sustainable Urban Development” were held in Tongji University, with the themes of “potentials for future cooperation” and “Social Balance in urban development”. Prof. Zhou Jialun, Chairman of University Council, Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers, Prime Minister of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia as well as Dr. Von der Heyden, General Consul of the German General Consulate in Shanghai attended and delivered welcome speeches. Prof. Dr. Tang Zilai from College of Architecture and Urban Planning gave the keynote speech on “EXPO 2010 and Urban Best Practice Area” during the fourth round of the forum.
