On 15th Nov, President Pei Gang met with Mr. Surendra Shrestha, Director of Strategic Resource Mobilization and Special Initiatives of UNEP. The two sides discussed the further cooperation between Tongji University and UNEP so as to facilitate the works of UNEP-Tongji Institute for Environment and Sustainable Development in the field of sustainable policy making and international education and training. After the meeting, Mr. Surendra Shrestha received Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award granted by Shanghai Government from Pei.
