On Nov. 13th, a delegation led by Ms. Henna Virkkunen, Minister of Science & Technology, Finland visited Tongji. President Pei Gang had a meeting with the delegation and both sides exchanged ideas on “reform on Finnish higher education”, “funding allocation to the higher education institution from Ministry of Science & Education, Finland”, “Tongji’s collaboration programmes in the areas of IT, innovation & design and architecture with Finnish partners”.

Two collaborative possibilities were raised at the meeting by Prof. Pei Gang namely the double degree programme and building up university-industrial partnership across both countries.
