On 4th November, Vice President Dong Qi met with Doctor Stephen Durrant, Vice Provost of University of Oregon and Anne Haberkern, Executive Director of AHA, Oregon University.

During the meeting, Dong introduced the history and key features of Tongji. Dr. Durrant introduced the University of Oregon and concluded that Oregon and Tongji have common view toward social service, internationalization and hot issues like environment, new energy and green campus. Both sides agreed to establish a cooperative partnership.

After the meeting, Dr. Durrant and Dr. Anne discussed with faculty members from School of Economics and Management about the cooperation details in terms of students’ short term and long term exchanges and double degree programmes.
