A delegation led by Vice President Chen Xiaolong visited Italy recently. Delegation members included Assistant President Ding Jieming and Wu Zhiqiang and faculty members from relevant colleges.

On October 30th, the delegation visited Politecnico di Milano and met with its President Pro. Giulio. The two sides exchanged opinions over collaboration between two universities. On the same day, the delegation visited ADI and European Design College during which a discussion was held between Chen and Luisa Bocchietto, Chairman of ADI.

On November 2nd, the delegation visited Universita’ di Venezia(Ca’ Foscari) and met with the Chairman of Italian Trade Commission(ICE) and Ambassador Umberto Vattani, who is also the president of Universita’ di Venezia. An agreement was reached on the project between Shanghai International Design Workshop and Italian Design and Innovation Center.
