On October 23rd, the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Sino-Italian Campus and the Center for Foreign Language Training of Tongji University, together with Fondazione Italia-Cina (Italian Education Center), Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, Italian Culture Institute in Shanghai, held the “Study in Italy-Presentation Day of Italian Universities”. As the Italian Presentation section of the “2009 Shanghai Education Expo”, more than fifteen Italian universities were invited to give presentations and to share the experience of studying in Italy together with the Chinese students. Dr. Serena Rovai, Director of Fondazione Italia-Cina (Italian Education Center) and Prof. Giorgio Casacchia, Cultural Attaché of the Italian Institute of Culture in Shanghai attended the presentation and gave speeches. On behalf of the Italian Government and relative institutes, they expressed warm welcome and full support for more Chinese students to study in Italy with the current increasing tendency of studying in Italy,. After the presentations, students were invited to consult at the individual desks of each university for further information.
