On October 15^th, the University Vice-President Dong Qi met with Abdulaziz Khayyal, the Senior Vice-President of Saudi Aramco and his delegation. The two sides held talks in a friendly atmosphere.

Dong Qi introduced the situation of foreign students in Tongji from various countries in recent years, the newly-founded preparatory department and the newly-constructed vehicle wind tunnel on Jiading Campus which was the first in China. Abdulaziz introduced Saudi Aramco’s situation of exploiting market in China and sending exchange student. He asked about teaching and scientific research of related disciplines and international courses and then expressed great interest in developing students’ exchange, staff training and cooperative research.
