From August 8^thto 17^th, 10 students form Technical University of Berlin, Humboldt University, Bauhaus University in Weimar, University of Stuttgart, Dresden University of Technology and other German partner universities of Tongji attended the summer school organized by Tongji German Academic Center.

This summer school was a pilot program of Tongji German Academic Center and Foreign Affairs Office, provided for 15 German partner universities of Tongji, and aimed at increase communication and interaction between our university and our partner universities through students exchange. During the summer school, the German students attended professional lectures about China urban construction, legal institutions, mode of economic development, history and cross-cultural communication of Tongji University. They were also trained in traditional Chinese arts through hand knitting, painting, handwriting and other cultural courses.
