On June 18th, the University Vice-President Chen Yiyi met with Prof. Chan Eng Soon, Dean of Engineering College, National University of Singapore and his delegation.
Chen introduced Tongji’s development recent years, key disciplines, emerging disciplines and their distribution. Prof. Chan Eng Soon introduced his university’s developing goal in the engineering field and hoped to develop cooperation with Tongji University in the fields of intelligent city, materials, and energy resources. Prof. Li Zhenyu introduced international cooperation characteristic and English class platform of Tongji University as well as discussed the potential cooperation with the guests.
Later, the delegates visited and observed Tongji Science Park. In the afternoon, they made communication with Tongji professors majoring in hydraulics, tribology, mechanics, and civil engineering, and visited the related laboratories.
