On the afternoon of June 11th, the University Vice-President Dong Qi met with Marc Melka, Chief of Asian and Oceanian Bureau of International Department, French Education Ministry, Jacques Moisan, Director of Mathematics Section, General Bureau of Inspectors, Florence Robine, Director of Physics and Chemistry Section, General Bureau of Inspectors and Cécile Cormier, Education Consul of French Consulate-General in Shanghai at Sino-French Center.
The two sides discussed about preparatory class, source of students, teachers, capital, and career choosing of graduates of French-style elite universities. They will completes the scheme and submit this proposal to mixed committee of Chinese and French Ministries of Education. The proposal will be one of the discussion topics of the working conference in July.
