On April 28th, Nigel Banister, Chief Executive of Manchester Business School and China Manager Sherry Fu, visited Tongji Economics & Management College. Lei Jiazhen, Dean of Economics & Management College received the guests. The two sides discussed the joint training of double degree MBA in the field of engineering construction and other cooperative programs and finally reached an agreement.

The two parties planned to sign the official cooperative agreement in June. Manchester Business School will set up a representative office in Tongji. From autumn in 2010, the double degree MBA of engineering construction training program will be held once a year. Both parties undertake half of the courses and the graduates will obtain degrees of the two universities. Meanwhile, the high-level training course of engineering construction management will be held twice a year. Each class admits 30 students from all over the world and it’s Tongji that undertake the courses.
