On the morning of April 20th, the University Executive Vice-President Li Yongsheng met Eric Kaler Stony, Academic Dean of Stony Brook University SUNY and his delegation. The two sides exchanged ideas on how to promote and implement cooperation between the two universities. They also hoped to develop substantial cooperation on international scientific cooperation in the field of environmental engineering, the World Expo and students exchange.
Later, experts and professors of the two sides communicated about the subjects of water treatment, biological energy source, World Expo planning, educational training, etc. finally, the two parties agreed to start students exchange program soon in the near future and go on promoting educational cooperation in the field of economic management.
In the afternoon the University President Pei Gang dined with the guests accompanied by professors from Tongji Environmental Engineering College, Economic Management College and Foreign Affairs Office.
