On March 7th, the 1stcomprehensive quality interviewbegan in Tongji Autonomous Enrolment tis year. 913 students from Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province who had passed the written examinations would answer the spot questions for 20 minutes from the experts group in sequence. Thinking ability, express abilities, creativity, imagination, humane quality and psychological quality were focuses of the test. The full score of this interview was 300 points, which was 60% of the total mark, much higher than the written examinations. The University would choose the students according to the selection examination results together with the national entrance examination file-deliver result. The University planned to select 570 students in this autonomous enrolment.
It was learned that, this year Tongji planned to recruit 4550 first class common undergraduate students among which 15% were autonomous enrolled students. These autonomous enrolled students came from 11 provinces and cities ranging from Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province to Chongqing, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shangdong, Hu’nan, Sichuan and Liaoning.
