Senior Member of the US National Sciences Academy Visited Tongji Medical College and Gave Lecture

On the afternoon of March 5th, Dr. Charles Cantor, Senior Member of US National Sciences Academy, Director ofCenterfor Advanced Biotechnology, Boston University and Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics visited Tongji Medical College upon invitation and gave a lecture.

Dr. Cantor was the first Director of Human GenomeCenter underUS Department of Energy. He has published more than 400 academic papers and had 60 patents. Dr. Cantor introduced the latest achievements his research team had obtained through DNA Mass Spectrometric analysis. He also explained the research progresses of some advanced technologies in medical application in detail.
